Will Floyd Mayweather make a mockery of the contract? We know what happen during the JMM fight, he went over 2 lbs and paid 300k per lbs. Team Paquiao is asking for 1 million penalty per pound.

Vote on the poll and discuss why he is going over, under or just right on.

Where are you getting this 1 mill per pound penalty? This fight is not happening at a catchweight. It's championship WW fight. If Floyd is over the limit, he will be forced by the commission to try to lose the weight. If he is still over, then it would be a non title fight. There is not need for a penalty in this situation, and Floyd will not come in over 147 lbs.

I say he goes over by about 2 lbs. PBF feels he needs all the advantage to beat Pacquiao. His original offer was 154 lbs with 10 oz gloves. Now that it looks like he won't get the 10 oz gloves he will definitely try to go over the contracted weight. He probably believes this is the only way he can win. Well this is my opinion.

I believe the title is not on the line. Here is an excerpt from one of the sites.

147 lbs or no Fight!! If Floyd goes over 147 lbs, he should be given some time to lose the weight off then come back and weigh in the 2nd time, if he still can't make 147 then there should be no fight and he will pay a huge amount of penalty

The reason for this is for Floyd to take it seriously and when the fight is at 147 then it is at 147 or else no FIGHT!!!

Being that we don't live in fantasy land, a fight of this magnitude won't be called off over a couple of lbs.
