Ther is a train of thought that PBF will beat Pac if they ever fight and i to even though i dont like PBF think he is the better boxer but man every time i watch Oscar V PBF im still not sure who won that fight but pac demolished him. Who else thinks that fight was really close?
Well given it was a split decision then i'd say it was pretty close. Personally at the time I had it 116-112 to Mayweather. As i remember it not too many of De la Hoyas punches landed, they were all being blocked. Though I might see if I can find it to have another watch. You can't just say Pacman battered Oscar, and PBF only won a close decision so therefore Pacquiao could beat Floyd. Remember that the Mayweather fight was at 154, and in the "dream match" De la Hoya came down to 147 for the first time since 2001? I think. That fight turned out to be a sparring session in the end. I love watching Pacquiao fight and would definately be shouting for him against PBF, but Floyd would run and potshot Pacquiao all night. I could see him stopping him in the last few rounds.

ok you can only compare the mayweather and pacman fight vs oscar to a small degree. mainly because floyd had to move up in weight, yes so did pacman but the difference is oscar did not move down in weight to fight mayweather. I watched the fight a few times and I do not know how that judge gave oscar the fight? I just did not see it, he faded badly in the second half of the fight and he did not win rounds 1-6 anyway, i dont see pacman beating floyd, arum knows this that is why he is starting that "pacman is the new oscar, and he wants 65%-35% splits moving forward" no real fighter will accept that- if it was me in a perfect world it would be for all mega fights "winner takes all" lol
