I actually took french classes for over a decade so can speak some. That's irrelevant though. This issue isn't about me anyway. Oh, and I never said traveling to the U.S was some cultural experience. Once again, you're just assuming which you continue to do unsuccessfully this entire thread.

Why? This was response to someone saying i probably don't leave my country. I told them i did travel to the U.S frequently. Um, whenever you have to pass customs and get on a plane for 4 - 12 hours, that's considered traveling. Pretty funny eh :rofl

I don't think everyone should learn it. But if you're involved with the U.S culture so much, I think you should. I would think that's a given though.
If i visited Germany, and I'm half german btw, I would learn the language without a doubt, nut I never plan on visiting there nor communicating with them. I know some french, since I live in Canada and Quebec is a province here, but I don't visit Quebec so haven't taken french classes in a long, long time.

Asumeing they both win their upcoming bouts with Mosley for Mayweather and Clottey for Pacquiao. Mayweather will have come off beating a more highly regarded boxer than Pacquiao. Pacquiao had come off his win over Cotto and Mayweather over Marquez who many consider too small for 147.
When this fight should have happened before Pacquiao for what ever reason decided he did not want it Pacquiao was in more of a position to call the shots. However after he beats Clottey a guy he is susposed to beat and Mayweather beats Mosley a guy who some people think has a chance against Mayweather. Mayweather will be in the drivers seat.
While Pacquiao may get more PPV buys on a constant basis, Mayweather's big fights like vs. De La Hoya, hatton and Marquez make the most money.

I voiced an opinion that has nothing to do with ignorance. You can disagree all you like but that's not ignorance. Ignorance is not learning how to speak the language of those you communicate with on a daily basis and relying on an interpreter a lot the time instead. At other times Pac rather attempts to speak poor, sloppy English while those poor communication skills leaves people confused or thinking he meant something else.
A lot of athletes from other countries who spend a great portion of time around American media and in America learn the English language to avoid these issues. Pac chooses not to learn the English language to enable him to communicate his thoughts and opinions without fail and that is ignorance on his part.
