Clottey tends to invite the activity of his opponents by standing behind the guard for long periods, so I can see why you might think so, in flashes of memory. However, I can assure you. Watch enough Clottey fights, and you'll find boredom. He's turns every ****ing match into an alternating tickling contest.

Yeah... As long as Pacquiao does his stuff.

    That's the thing.

Yeah....However, we also have the numbers of PBf and Pac against identical opponents, and PBF does better PPV numbers. Also, for career numbers of PPV PBF does better.

And? Last time I checked the PPV ordering process didn't ask whether you are for or against Mayweather, just if you want to order the fight.

    forget the numbers and hypothesis.
a floyd - pacman fight would generate so much interest through word of mouth that NO OTHER FIGHT TODAY could among the general public, and that's what would see the PPV snowball.

it's very rare nowadays that a fight can transcend the sport and bring in interest from sports fans who aren't particularly fans of boxing.

it's only ego that prevents a 50-50 split, and the money each fighter would make would be bucketloads anyway. so let's stop all the nitpicking and get this on for the good of boxing!

It is at risk. Clottey is capable of ruining anybody's plans at welter. But Pacquiao has had more significant fights @WW in a year than FLoyd in the last 5 years. IMHO at the time of negotiations Manny deserved 60/40. Again, I agree Clottey could mess up the plans. And I am hoping Mosley can pull this one out. I can't reallly wait until boxing gets rid off Floyd.

No he will not because this is not Margarito he is facing. The abilities of both guys dictate that it will be a technical fight which PBF win decisively. Mosley has said that he is bigger, stronger faster and will walk right through which is what so many opponents have thought they would do to him only to find out e reality. Mosley will lose decisively.

If that's the case then why wasn't Mosley vs Berto going to be on PPV?

@ricky369 are you serious? then again maybe you are right, i mean it will be a first for shane to be on 24/7 and in a mega ppv fight since (10 yrs ago) and while most of us are use to seeing shane on hbo after dark...maybe just maybe your correct...NOT..there is no demand for shane unless he is fighting floyd or pacman..dont let "hate" effect your judgement
