You come off as more ignorant for every post you try to justify your attitude and mentality.
Since your travel is limited to the English speaking area of the North America (where Spanish and French is also spoken), I would really limit trying to tell people what language they should speak.

And really... movies is your justification for Chinese people to learn English? Really?

if floyd sells more and wins easy he should get 55-45 split, and get random drug testing. If pac still wants to make 25 mill he'll do it.

Pac had more PPV buys and a much larger gate in his last fight then Floyd did, and yet he conceded to 50-50. This is just another example of Floyd making sure the fight never happens.

I don't think it's that simple. I think you have to look at who they fight against.

But in any event, I don't think Floyd will stick to these demands on the purse.

You're an idiot. I didn't say everyone should speak english. I said someone of Pac's stature should though since he spends enough time in the states and around english speaking people and media. Secondly, I'm not justifying anything, i really could care less what you think about me or think about the few words I type in here. Interesting though that you're calling me ignorant for calling out the ignorance of non-english speaking, high-profile foreign athletes

If this fight sells more than Pac-Cotto, absolutely he should get a bigger share.

Bob Arum was using Pac-Cotto PPV sales as leverage to ask for more money when compared to the Mayweather- Marquez fight. I'd say Marquez is less of an attraction than Cotto even with Marquez's Mexican supporters.

Well Bob Arum gets a taste of his own medicine pretty much. This fight will outsell Pac-Clottey, and it should probably outsell Pac-Cotto due to the magnitude of the fight.

no one would doubt that Shane-Floyd would the bigger seller. But after that fight, he'd be thankful to Pac as Pac surely will be generous enough to grant him a 50/50 split as Shane will knock his ass out on May 1st. Better yet, it might be Shane-Pac/Clottey.

If that's the case, why should Floyd insist on a higher cut if he has a higher profile opponent then Pac does? Floyd using the Mosley fight is exactly the same as Pac using the Cotto fight to justify their purse parity.

But I don't think it matters anyway. Floyd found a way out of the fight the first time, and now has a way to keep future negotiations from occurring. Pretty pathetic.

Pac and Floyd agreed on a 50-50 split DESPITE Pac doing bigger numbers and doing much more at the gate.

First off, Pac is a boxer - not really an endeavor where an intellectual talent is needed. Be freaking grateful he attempts to speak to American media in English. He is no different from the overwhelming majority of American athletes that do not speak any other language (or even English properly).

Second off, I am calling your ignorance because there seems to be a need in your part for Pac to speak English - for your convenience. So not only you are ignorant, you have a cultural arrogance. I don't see you campaigning for American hockey players to speak French to the Quebecois press or American baseball players to speak Spanish when baseball is followed hardcore by a dozen Latin American countries.

Uhm BTW - that is the point of subtitles - so you understand the foreign movie. Let me guess, a book is a monumental task for you?

Please stop. Just face it that Foreign Language is an alien topic for you. You admittedly have little experience with it and you expect everyone to cater to your ignorance.

I guess it depends on who you blame for the fight not happening in the first place. We obviously disagree on who is to blame.

I don't think Floyd is going to hold to steady with the purse demands, because I agree that it would be a deal breaker.

Yeah and that still doesn't change the fact that Arum was trying to use the higher sells of Pac-Cotto as leverage.

He shouldn't be mad if the somebody actually follows through, and doesn't bluff.
