Pretty much agree with this, for the fight to happen it has to be at 147. Floyd has grown into the weight and now looks a proper welterweight, Manny for me at this stage is probably a 140lber. There's basically about one weight division between them in terms of their ideal size IMO.

He's had one catchweight fight you knob, against Cotto who is not a massive welter and only weighed in one pound less than in his previous fight. The Oscar fight was a fight that Oscar wanted, no way could Pacquiao jump up to 154 so Oscar had to come down to 147. That's not Pac's fault and most people don't take that fight too seriously anyway.

You could also look at Mayweather and say that his last two fights have been against smaller guys he has made come up to a weight were they weren't effective. That would be a far more reasonable accusation to make.

He fought one fight at a catchweight against Cotto, who said he felt in great shape before the fight. He fought Hoya at 147 when Hoya arguably should have been a 154 fighter, but Hoya requested that weight and had the fight before at 150 in preperation of coming down, also Pac had to come up all the way from 135 so lets see Pac moves up two weight classes Hoya moves down less then half a weight class. As for most of his strong wins were at the other persons best weight Barrere, Marquez, Hatton, and almost all his other fights. One may make a case for Morales being weight drained, but the fight was contracted at Morales's normal weight and him coming over in his last fight was more a sign of his lack of training rather then him being too large.

Now if we look at things your way and only take a small sample of the persons fights and then exaggerate about them we can make any fighter seem bad. Mayweather will only fight bloated fighters, I mean he made Hatton come up to 147 even though its clear his best weight is 140 and he made Marquez come up to 144 even though Marquez looked poorly at 135 and it was clear his best weight was 130.

So when making stupid generalizations like this actually think. What you said is false of Pac and what I said is false of Mayweather. And thats plain when you look at their entire career not just two fights at of 40 for Mayweahter or 56 for Pac.

Right now it's an easy 147 but if and when Mayweather gets around to fighting Pac we may be arguing whether Mayweather will be going after Pac's 147 or 154 title. At this point it's pretty obvious Mayweather wants no part of Pac at 147 so perhaps he's hoping Pac will grab a 154 title where he may think he's got a better chance at Manny.

Did I mention anything about catchweights dumbass? The second and thrid fights against Morales were not at a catchweight but Morales was clearly drained. Ditto for Oscar. I was joking around with PHILLA anyway. Stop being so sensitive.

Damn people are stupid! They can't even remember yesterday.
The weight would be at 147.
Pac has beaten Clottey, and DLH at 147! He beat Cotto at 145! That is the only catchweight victory he's had (1 pound less than what Cotto weighed at 146 for Clottey), and people make it out like he's the master of catchweights. You guys don't know ****.
Mayweather's fight with Marquez was agreed at 144, and of course Mayweather weighed 146 for the fight. Thus the reason why Pac wanted 10 mil for every pound over the 147 limit (if they were to fight).

Assuming Floyd beats Mosley, they will both have belts at 147.

    So 147.

It'll be 147. Mayweather wil never accept a catchweight. He probably won't accept a 50/50 split so the fight won't happen anyway. It'll be the duck of the century.
