:good Yeah, he should talk about his expected boring fight with JMM and not some fantasy fights where he's imagining himself as a big winner...:D

I can understand why Floyd feels that way. He probably would have TKO'd a weight drained Oscar by round 10.

If floyd fought hoya at `47, it would still be a decision. He would be potshotting all night long to a comfortable decision.

The thing that dela hoya was not able to handle was the speed. The in-out darting movement that he could not even counter because his punch was hitting nothing except air. Hoya even in his prime had limited foot speed, even robotic looking actually- one foot dragging the other foot. He does not switch footing at all with his dominant foot always in front while the less dominant one making those small hopping steps to maintain that stance, plus no lateral movement (left or right). That was what prime Oscar actually looked. Sure he had amazing hand speed but bascially no lateral movement.

In the PBF-Hoya fight, Dela hoya did not actually have to be fleet-footed because PBF's style allowed him to be such. With the potshotting style of PBF, Hoya just had to be always squared to be in punching position which he was not able to do against Pac because once he is in punching position, the target is not there. Being the person with lonegr reach, hoya was able to connect with his jab. In fact he was very competitive until he abandaoned his jab.

It's not like I don't like Mayweather. I enjoy his fights and am very excited for him to return; however, I find it hard to believe the tactics he used in the De la Hoya fight would have led to a knockout. Who knows? He could have sensed more weakness and changed it up, but I kindly doubt it.

Yeah "IF" at 147 . . . unfortunately he can't dictate anything to De La Hoya. DLH could have dumped him in the trash. :yep

Shut up. Hoya was drained and weak and did not fire off punches...any at Pac. Not b/c if his movement. See ODH whitaker for reference. ODH actually threw punches. Pac was not in and out like that and the ODH that fought Floyd was not the same as the Pac fight you dim witted morons.

If he's talking about the DLH that fought Pac, it wouldn't surprise me that much. But I think he would have won by TKO.
