I think you forgot when Mosley complained of a toothache and opted to rest when a date with Floyd was well within reach.
You have to realize that--based on the content of his posts--the OP has only been watching boxing for 6 months or a year.
I think it's more that he's entirely unaware that boxing even existed prior to 6 months or a year ago.
He was never given an offer to fight Mayweather, the De La Hoya-Mayweather fight was already in the works by the time Mosley KO'ed Vargas for the second time. And yes, if Mayweather was half of the COMPETITOR Shane Mosley is, who knows, maybe Mayweather today would be considered the greatest of all time, maybe somebody would've knocked him out. Shane Mosley is Mosley, and Mayweather is Mayweather. Genius!
Mosley is a great fighter, but did he really take some of those tough fights because he really wanted to take all comers? Or could he maybe not get the biggest fights out there because during his entire career his popularity has been eclipsed by that of his rival Oscar de la Hoya??
If you are going to post a reply at least address what is being said. Everything he just spoke about is true and I too wish Floyd had the same attitude as warrior Mosley.
i don't agree it was true and you still haven't said why? don't back up your own or someone else's opinion without putting yourself and your opinion on the line.
:good Shane said all along he would fight Fraud right after the DLH money fight. . . Then Fraud saw hattons only fight at 147 with Collazo - saw him really struggle and arguably lose . .. saw Shane utterly school Collazo and said "Yup, Hatton is my path of least resistance at 147":deal
