    It's common sense, kid.

Mosley has fought much better opposition than Floyd Mayweather. The only liable excuse that I am willing to accept is that the competition wasn't out there, but it always was and still is. The money excuse is ridiclious, and any so called boxing fan who brings that **** up in here needs to re-evaluate themselves.

Boxing is a sport, and money is involved, but if you talk about being the best than you should be fighting the best.

Ali always said it isn't bragging when you can back it up.

Isn't it a valid point though? This ganchozurdo guy has only been posting for a few days and ALL he has posted has been typical Floyd hating BS. He's even starting threads about it. People prove him wrong in his weird stuff he's saying, repeatedly, and he still goes on saying it.

Mosley CAN'T get the biggest fights out there though. Floyd can. What would you do if you were a boxer?

    Not at all.

He has made a good point. If Floyd had the same attitude as Mosley, he'd be giving all of us boxing fans what we want. He'd be a credit to the sport. People jump to conclusions and assume everything written about Floyd Mayweather is a hate thread. It is true that Mosley has fought better opposition. That's a fact.

    I'm glad you asked.

If I was a Boxer that claimed to be the greatest of all time, like Floyd Mayweather Jr has done on several occasions, I'd do everything my power to shut up my critics and fight top 10 opposition. It's ludicrious that Mayweather hasn't fought top 10 opposition, just as it is ludicrious that his fans and boxing enthusiasts alike think its acceptable.

Shane said all along he would fight Fraud right after the DLH money fight. . .

Then Fraud saw hattons only fight at 147 with Collazo - saw him really struggle and arguably lose . .. saw Shane utterly school Collazo and said "Yup, Hatton is my path of least resistance at 147"

There is no point discussing this anymore.

People here have convinced themselves that Mayweather has nothing left to prove because he himself has said it after every fight. Ali didn't say that, even after he defeated George Foreman. Sugar Ray Leonard didn't say that after he beat his greatest rivalry (Mayweather's equiavalent to Cotto) Thomas Hearns. All of these being the same greats that Mayweather claims to be greater than.

Floyd Mayweather Jr needs to either retire as the best fighter since Whitaker, or carry on fighting to prove that he is better than everybody he claims to be greater than. Case closed.
