PBF-SSM 24/7, Episode 1: The Best 24/7 There Has Been Yet, IMO.

Firstly, Losfer thanks for posting it. I don't really have a favourite episode or anything like that but I know where you're coming from.

But what the **** did I just watch. I guess Rocky 7 is on the way. I found 80% of that to be really cringeing to watch. From Floyd's statement at the start to the Rocky - Creed comparisons at the end I was laughing but in an uncomfortable manner.

Naazim Richardson is the man though, I have to say. What a dude. And I felt a little bit sorry for Shane with that episode being basically drug themed throughout. I can't wait for May 1st, I really can't. In my eyes this is a super-fight. A term to easily banded about. Floyd better be ****ing ready.

Fightcamp 360 kicks the **** out of this program by the way.

 

Not a great episode but decent. I look forward to next weeks.

 

Can't believe it took Floyd that long to do a urine sample. At work we have random drug tests and you get 2 hrs from getting the call to producing

 

Shane seems a real genuine nice guy. Makes me wanna root for him but i'm also a Floyd fan.

 

Thanks for posting this, just watched the first part and will probably watch the others tomorrow. I think 24-7 on HBO and 360 on Showtime are superb, wish we had something similar for Sky PPV's ("Haye Countdown" wasn't quite in the same league)

 

It's not particularly fun to me in any sense watching Floyd's childish and boorish outbursts, its frustrating because he's a delusional plonker rather than a tongue in cheek wind up, thats what makes it a hard watch

I was just stating my view on him regardless of the opening post from my experience of watching these in the past. He's a Grade A **** wit. I'm just saying.

Agreed, it's much better than nothing. (And it wasn't intended as a knock on your thread!) I was just disappointed - it didn't live up to the quality of some of the others by any means, especially considering these are two of the best fighters that have ever been on 24/7.

I agree that it was very unfair on Shane to have so much of a drug-theme to it. I would ****in love it and mean LOVE IT (Kevin Keegan style) if Shane caused an upset here. C'mon Sugar Shane!!

 

But... it's right that he discusses it. He admitted to using PEDs in the past, and it's a big issue for Floyd clearly. I think it was one of the few areas it could have done more with - but they didn't really deliver much.
