actually the last hope i had against pac prior to cotto and odlh was marquez and guess what?... he beat pac twice..
lmfao...r u gonna run and hide after Floyd wins or will you be on here to eat your words and admit u were all wrong??
I didn't know who would win the Cotto-Pacman fight but I was kind of hoping that Cotto would win so that PBF could whoop Cotto's ass and there would be no excuses afterward.
what the f you talkin bout? floyd ducked Cotto last year, he would never fight Cotto. Mercahnt: How about fighting Cotto next (after HATTON) Fraud: "I will retire from boxing before I let boxing retire me." in other words, Cotto would KILL ME
Yawn If Cotto were to have defeated Pacman then Cotto - Mayweather would have been the fight in demand. Mayweather would have made the most money facing Cotto then with any other fighter if Cotto defeated Pacman. Mayweather wanted Cotto become a top PPV attraction before they faced so that he could make top money facing Cotto. Mayweather would beat Cotto soundly. Mayweather would beat Cotto to the punch every time. As he has faster hands plus the reach advantage. Cotto's body shots would be blocked by Mayweather's elbows and Mayweather would tag Cotto with short inside uppercuts that he wouldn't even see. Cotto also can't outbox Mayweather and is not a better inside fighter then Mayweather. He allows himself also to be hit to much cuts, bruises, and swells to easily. Cotto's only hope is to overpower opponents like he did vs Malinaggi, Quintana, Judah. Once he realizes he can't overpower you he back peddles and looks to box like he did vs Margo, Mosley, Pacman. The problem is he can't outbox Mayweather. He isn't going to be able to overpower Mayweather either. As Mayweather isn't going to give him the opportunity to. Its one thing if Cotto had the defense to stop Mayweather from tagging him in the face, but he doesn't. Once one of Cotto's eyes cut or swell after being punched in the face so much he is in even more trouble. 36 yr old DLH at 154 at 5 10 1/2 and a 73 inch reach who was trained by Freddie Roach was probably a tougher opponent for Mayweather then Cotto would have been.
Very well posted. Although I do think that cotto would have been a bit tougher than Oscar. Cotto would have had a better work rate than oscar but definately would have gotten touched up a lot more.
