Naz under Ingle was a fantastic fighter with as much natural ability as Floyd.
I would have loved to have seen him fight Pac too.

Hell, Naz could have come back a couple of yrs ago at 140-147 and put on a show

Not in a million years you must be joking.

Naz is never getting KO'd or stopped at 130, a Hamed under Ingle was brilliant.

Not sure whether he would beat Floyd over 12 rounds but PBF is the one more likely to get KO'd in this fight.

Pointless thread, anyone that knows boxing knew Hamed never came close to fulfilling his potential, he could have been an ATG. Him and Floyd would have been an excellent fight, a competitive one that either fighter could have won. But everyone on here will just say he is **** because Barrera beat a 40-50% Naz.

Floyd would probably out-box and out-point Naz. I doubt very much he'd KO him. We saw what happened when Naz faced a real talented boxer in Barrera. It'd be another boxing lesson from Mayweather. I wanted Kevin Kelley to beat him. Shame he didn't.

I just posted about this in a thread the other day..I'll just paste it here instead of typing it out all over again.

Man, imagine a 24/7 series devoted to these two...it would be utter madness.

Hamed is often underrated due to a mixture of things. Firstly, his personality, which made people want to literally kill him. He was so cocky and flashy that Mayweather would pick up some tips just from being around him, and he made people hate him and tune in just to see him get brutally knocked out. Secondly, the fact that he's British. Thirdly, the way he retired after getting outboxed by Barrera and then having a final lackluster match that ended in a UD.

The people who worship Hamed say that he was far past his prime when he fought Barrera, and that prime for prime he would KO him. The people who hate him say that he lost to the first good fighter he ever faced, and that he was a joke. As usual, the truth lies somewhere between these two foolish extremes. Hamed, in his prime and united with Ingle, would have given Barrera a far harder time -- I'm not saying he would KO him, but he wouldn't have been outboxed so badly either seeing as he would have those lightning reflexes/swaying style at their peak. And no, Barrera was not the first 'good' fighter he ever fought -- Barrera was the first ALL TIME GREAT that he ever fought. Hamed had been dominating world class people for a long time before the match-up happened, and the Hamed from the Robinson fight would have given Barrera all kinds of trouble due to the variety of angles, the speed, the utterly unorthodox style and of course, the power. Hamed was also 'mentally shot', if that makes sense -- he had become so in love with his power that he figured all he had to do was just show up to win (most likely due to the way his power bailed him out in the Kelley clash) and instead of training he was shown, in the buildup to the fight, to be playing on the playstation and concentrating on his haircut.

In terms of a fight with Floyd Mayweather, I'll take Mayweather via points. Hamed was never knocked out, and the only time he was knocked down was due to bad balance because of his strange limbo-dancing like style. He would be able to take Mayweather's shots. Mayweather, on the other hand, is so technically brilliant that Hamed would land very few real punches on him. Trying to hit Mayweather is often like trying to hit a ghost -- he's a defensive genius. Thing is, Hamed's power was absolutely frightening at that weight, and so Mayweather would have to be extra careful not to take a big one, because it would most likely be lights out if he did. Let's also remember that Mayweather was more agressive at the lower weights -- closer to a boxer-puncher than a pure boxer -- and that people coming in against Hamed often found themselves flat on their back wondering what just happened. All that being said, though, I take Mayweather via UD. Hamed was only ever beaten (although a tad past his prime) through clinical outboxing on the back foot, and Mayweather is a far better boxer and ten times more elusive than Barrera. It would be interesting to see, though, just because of the almost amusing style clash -- one guy is one of the most technically sound purist boxers of all time, and the other guy has possibly the most unorthodox style of all time. Definitely interesting.

Naz was far more talented than Amir 'Overhyped' Khan in your avatar. He also, unlike Khan, had a chin.
