Right, I never saw this fight in full, the fight report on this sight is clearly written by a PBF fan/ Zab hater, while a highlights I checked
on YouTube clearly came from a Zab fan, but did show Zab looking pretty good ( but these mayve been the only times in the fight he looked good )

How did Zab do, was he in control for the early rounds ? Was it a case of losing the plot, running out of gas or PBF just working him out and then taking care of business ? Or a bit of everything ?

Zab did very well for the first half of the fight but he couldn't stick to his gameplan and Floyd began to break him down. Judah technically knocked him down even though it wasn't counted. If it weren't for the low-blow, there's a good chance Floyd would have stopped Zab eventually in my opinion.

Everything from those clips is from the first 4 rounds, and then the end of the 12th round. Floyd just dominated 8 or 9 rounds in a row with body shots and pressure and Zab couldn't handle it.

He certainly gave PBF some trouble for a few rounds and clearly knocked him down.
After that though it was all PBF, he beat up Zab for the most past and Zab could only retaliate with dirty stuff.

    PBF working him out.

I dont think Zab was ever "controling" the fight, he just really gave Money a tricky time early on. Zab tried a few of tricks from early in the fight several times but they stopped working once Money was looking for them.

Floyd and Zab both came out boxing on the outside. Zab was much faster than Floyd and was able to pick his shots and land more than Floyd. He could also see what Floyd was throwing and was countering him well and managed to knock Floyd down with a right hook counter that the ref didn't see.

After the 4th round, Roger told Floyd "get at that mother****er, he don't wanna fight" and he was right. Floyd stopped fighting on the outside and started getting in close range on Zab and letting his punches go. It worked, once Zab started getting hit he became very tentative. Also Floyd's inside defense is much better than Zab's.

Floyd dominated the second half of the fight.

Zab had two good rounds(2 and 4). Although those were his two good rounds, he really wasn't that dominant in either. One of them could've been scored for Floyd(I scored them both for Zab). What a happened to Zab is that Floyd was able to avoid that straight left, and was also able to keep coming foward without taking many shots. As soon as Floyd started following his straight right up with the left hook, and working the body, Judah was done. Judah does not fight all that well going backwards, was eating a lot of shots, and grew frustrated with his inability to land on Floyd.

Zab was never in control of this fight. Round 1 was a feel out round, rounds 2 and 4 he landed some good counters. However, he was never able to impose his will, dictate the pace, or stop Floyd from doing what he wanted to do.
