It took Mayweather 10 rounds to ko Hatton, who is inferior to Duran in every aspect of boxing. And what about boxer-puncher DeJesus. When Duran took it seriously,he starched Esteban twice. He quit against Leonard because he was out of shape compared to the victory from only 5 months before.Don't believe it?Just look at both fights and see what Duran looked like body wise and reflex wise. Leonard knew Duran would still be partying, which is why sorceress Leonard demanded the rematch right away.Duran was a notorious partier.

I think he edges out Salvador Sanchez 7-5. I have only seen bits and peaces of Sanchez so this is a guess. From what I have seen he is a well rounded and complete fighter.
Roberto Duran is an ATG but I think crafty boxers have his number look at the second Ray Leonard fight. Joe Gans, Benny Leonard, Pernell Whitaker and Floyd mayweather Jr. would all beat him. Mayweather 8-4
Julio Cesar Chavez vs Mayweather @ 130 or 135 would be interesting and I might even pick Chavez to win espicialy @130. However @140 the term "field day" comes to mind. As in Mayweather would have a field day with Chavez. While Chavez is good he is no where near as good at 140 as he was at 130 and 135. Speed is Chavez's weekness look at the first Taylor fight and the Whitaker (yes I know it was at 147) fight. Mayweather 10-2
Sugar Ray Leonard is fast enough to catch Mayweather and has the power to stop him. He also has the speed to make Mayweather miss. If this were a 15 round fight I would pick Leonard by stopage 13-15 in a very close fight. After 12 rounds I am going to call this a draw with Leonard having the momentien.
Thomas Hearns @ 154 might be the most interesting and/or the most boreing match up. I don't think Hearns can catch Mayweather to knock him out. mayweather is not only fast enough to stay away he is smart enough not to get caught. On the other hand I don't think Mayweather has enough pop to realy hurt Hearns. I think the difference will be Mayweather's counter punching. It won't be the most exciting fight in the world but Mayweather 8-4.

floyd only wins at 140. he lost to castillo their first time, chavez could of done the same. sanchez beats him at 130 at 23 barely reaching his prime wasn't even at his best yet and had better stamina than floyd. sanchez by 15rnd split decision. duran at 135 would of beaten him like jlc did the first time, but with more pressure and alot clearer decision, duran 15rnd maj decision. vs. chavez it could of been a draw but would lean on floyd keeping his distance. mayweather, jr 12 rnd split dec

at 147 it's a no brainer leonard too much for floyd, but it would of been very competitive. leonard by late tko. against hearns, if floyd had heart combined with his magnificent skills, we would of seeing him vs. cotto, margo, williams, clottey, or even berto by now, but instead he takes on the old and small. hearns wins by ko. too many people on floyd's sac it's unbelievable

Does Tommy Hearns even know how to be in a boring fight?

I'm as big a Sanchez fan as anyone, but come on now.... 130lbs is not Sanchez's weight, and what gives you the impression Floyd had lacking stamina?

true, we never saw sal at 130, but c'mon bro i really don't think he was finished at 23. if anything i believe he was just reaching his prime and later on down the line reach his peak. floyd always came in superb shape and his style might of helped, but he can be lured into fighting like with jlc and when jlc started landing floyd was slowing down in the late rounds. i give floyd the credit he deserves, but he is very beatable especially vs. the atg's. floyd has not beaten any atg's in their primes to cement his greatness imo, unlike the atg's he's being compared against, that is why i would favor him over chavez and not over sanchez
