There's been a change in the way PBF is perceived after the Hatton K.O I wonder if people would have such elevated opinions of him had he won a boring decision.
Something has become clear to me and its saddening. People dont realize how much Floyd has improved since he beat Castillo twice.
No sorry. Twice. ~ referee: Vic Drakulich | judge: Anek Hongtongkam 116-111 | judge: John Keane 115-111 | judge: Jerry Roth 115-111 ~ ~ WBC lightweight title ~
To me this is a toss up. The problem with Floyd is that sometimes he gets a little too defensive. In his fight against Jesus Chavez he allowed Chavez to get close and pummel him against the ropes. You can't allow a guy like JCC to pummel you against the ropes, because he will blast you with those left hooks to the body. If PBF mixes it up defensively and offensively while constantly moving, then I see PBF winning UD12.
Id favor Floyd...but he cant take any rounds off or else..Hed lose Meldrick gave JCC all he could handle and Pea beat him flat out. Floyd is somewhere between those two.. so according to my formula..advantage Floyd
Good question. I would actually pick JCC to win this one in his prime, which means of course NOT at 147. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised no matter what happened in this fight - it would be a monumental matchup, that's for sure.
Mayweather is going to stop someone that was only legitimately stopped about 20 years into his career by Tszyu? Not a chance in hell is Chavez getting stopped even if you think Mayweather would win.
