I think that's the most likely scenario. Floyd just sticks and moves all night, nobody gets in trouble, clear points win. PBF isn't really even a 147 lb fighter imo, he could and probably should get back down to 140 but he's chasing paydays.
............... Oh the Hype on JMM's resume is starting! **** you bernie4366! Even Divac can't HELP you on this! Go on! Dig deeper on JMM's resume as if you are digging your own grave! Go on continue your HYPE!!! jandaing, Jaca and Rocky Jaurez :admin :yep :yep :yep Either you are trying to be funny or you are plainly stupid? SO which one are you :think
It wouldn't be Floyd's fault if the fight is uneventful it's just the matchup. Put 2 extra smart counterpunchers together and this is what you get. At 130 Floyd was really aggressive by the way.
I would'nt say he was ultra aggressive, but absolutely he was alot more aggressive at 130 lbs than he was at an other weight above that afterward. In fact, the higher the weight, the more Mayweather's workrate drops.....and thats understandable, afterall at the higher weights, a mistake is alot more costly because as we know, the shots are coming in alot heavier. Just want to get some feedback from some of you all in this thread....... I dont see this matchup as a non-eventful like performance by the fighters like some of you are saying...... First of all, its certainly would'nt be like Jones-Hopkins.....those two are naturally conservative in the ring to begin with. Certainly JMM has never shown those gunshy tendencies that Jones and Hopkins have displayed. .....and at 130 lbs, Mayweather was'nt gunshy as well. Lets get real here, neither of these guys can be labeled cautious fighters at 130 lbs. The only question as far as I'm concerned is who'd be more the aggressor? Who'd take the initiative? Would it be JMM, or Mayweather? The reason I'd see this matcup as a great fight is that I think both would have success being aggressive with one another...... If one fighter would get the upper hand in exchanges, that would force the other who may have been on the backfoot, to turn aggressive himself. JMM is cerebral enough to take Mayweather to the ropes and just pick his shots from their, not going crazy and letting Mayweather do what he's done with so many others..(letting them have their pleasure with him throwing and winging shots off his arms and elbows). Marquez would be cerebral enough to wing a few just to get Mayweather ultra defensive, but then calm down to land a few well placed shots. Having landed some well placed shots, Mayweather is going to want to come off those ropes, and pay JMM in kind...... I envision a fight where they both take turns being the aggressor, and even instances where they'd stand center ring to war!!!:toney :happy :happy :happy Both are just offensively too multifaceted for them not too!:deal :toney :bbb :boxer Some thoughts guys? Who's the aggressor, and who fights mostly off the backfoot......or do you agree with me that they'd take turns at it?
I agree with you Divac, This fight would not be boring by any means. It would be a great display of talent and skill as well as calculated aggressiveness, in other words, a very good boxing fight. For example many people believed that Barrera vs Marquez was going to be boring because MAB was going to fight on the backfoot and JMM would just wing it with counterpunches. Instead we got JMM being agressesor, pushing the fight, MAB having to fight back and both doing it with a great display of boxing skill, and that gave us a very good fight. In the end I think Floyd does a little more to grab the close decision of a very tough and well fought boxing fight.
Sounds like you're starting to hyperventilate. Don't blame me that you have to constantly defend your asian love interest, tell him to go fight another great fighter IN HIS PRIME. As soon as he does that once - >>>>>ONCE - as in ONE TIME, in his ENTIRE CAREER<<<<<< you won't have to defend his honor so much.
Just come back when Manny fights a young fighter on Jaca's level. Until then, STFU. Your boy avoids anyone not in a wheelchair.
