I think it´s probably 10 oz since it is a welterweight match.

What if each one can choose their gloves? I think Floyds gloves have always looked larger than his opponents.

Umm I guess we'll fight out when the fight begins. Hopefully, they're gonna use 8oz. if Floyd demands to use 10oz then he really is a complete jack ass.

Do u think Oscar was a jackass for making Floyd use 10 oz gloves when they fought?

Actualy they fought at Jr Middleweight the rules state you must use 10 ounce gloves at that weight, However it wasnt the size of the gloves Oscar insisted on it was the brand, The reyes brand which he felt would be an advantage cus Floyd has hand problems which is why Floyd has been using Winnings gloves.

I am almost certain its 8 ounce gloves, you have to remember Marquez agreed to this fight at 140 and now its at 144 for what ever reason, I am sure Oscar took care of the glove issue especially since this fight is taking place at that weight.

They're using 8 oz. gloves. This actually favors Floyd IMO. JMM isn't going to knock out Floyd or seriously hurt him either way. At least with 10 oz. gloves, JMM reduces the chances that he gets knocked out.

I don't remember this fight ever being at 140 lbs.

Didnt the NSAC change the rules and welterweights can now fight with 8oz gloves in Vegas?

But with 10 ounce gloves sure it reduces the chances but it dampers your power to get any damage done in there, Not sure how the 8 ounces will play a role in this fight, the truth is, Floyd has had hand injuries however he said his body is rested so I will take his word on it.

Yes you could say Floyd is going to stop him I see that, I said in the late rounds, But lets be honest Marquez has faced the biggest banger there is of the little guys twice and hasnt been stopped yet, Floyd could be the first to do it, then again Floyd was not able to knock out DLH, and with Hatton he was forced to find another way to beat Ricky.

Marquez is going to make Floyd find another way to beat him I beleive that Nacho has a game plan ready for anything Mayweather brings Marquez will have an answer. but it wont be enough the weight is going to be a huge factor later on in the fight, I think Floyd uses that weight early leaning on him etc...

When they first announced it they said something along the lines of Mayweather Marquez in teh works at 140 when it was finalized it was at 144 or something like that, I knew FLoyd wouldnt come down to 140 thats insane especially if you hadnt fought in two years and havent made that weight in how many years?
