Don't tell me Pac beat Morales by skills alone. Pac Koed Morales by Speed & Power & by his added right hook. Pac has the Greatest equalizer, His natural punching power. You'll see more example of that Power on March 15.

Yes. Jus because Pac stops Hatton sooner than PBF doesnt mean he would be a match for PBF. Styles make fights. Hatton stopped Castillo when PBF didnt and you see what happened to hatton.

Does PBF look like a shop worn 130lb Mexican to you? What does this have to do with Mayweather?

So your opinion is not Hypothetical??? The reaiity is Floyd is a small Black man & Pac is an average sized asian man. Both have Phenominal talents, both were proven in the ring, they were just separated by less than 8 lbs all throughout their career.

Isn't it Floyd fought at 112-118 in his Teens & Amateur days??? Isn't it he have loses there too? Pac has a short amateur career, turn Pro at 16, He's very poor under-nutritioned kid in a third world country & was thrown with Lions early in his career. Basically Pac amateur development is his Flyweight days. If Pac was American & turned Pro at the same age as Floyd he'll probably debuted as 122 or 126 pounder.

No, it's not hypothetical. My opinion is based off of precedence in the sport. And PBF is ACTUALLY a WW and has beaten WW, JWW, and LW. Pacquiao is ACTUALLY a SFW who has never beaten a LW, JWW, or WW. See the difference. You are basing your opinion on your love of Filipino's and something that hasn't happened yet and has never happened.

They are currently seperated by 17lbs, not 8lbs. And nothing else you said had anything to do with anything I said, so don't quote me if you aren't going to respond to the content of my post.

He hasn't proven enough at 130 yet. You're right, fighting old MAB was not competitive. So why was he fighting him? Were there no other available fights? Yes, there was.

So what has PBF Proven at 147 & 154??? beating a Journeyman Baldo, shopworn DLH, Judah & Mitchell & a small guy Hatton???

What has Pac Proven up to 130??? That he can beat the best(After March 15) That he can Carry his speed & Power as he moved up, That he keeps on fighting the toughest competition as he moved up.

There are some welterweights Pac could beat with his speed and aggression and workrate, even if he couldn't really hurt them as easily as another 130 lb fighter.

PBF is NOT one of those welterweights. Bad night for Pac. And Pac is under 5'7'', I'm thinking closer to 5'6''. Floyd's 5'8'' is about spot on, we were exactly the same height in person eye to eye so if anything the barest shade under 5'8''. The length, accuracy, and intelligence of Floyd embarrasses Pac.

Floyd can fight bigger and stronger guys - slick boxers like Cory Spinks can, too - he did very well against the physically superior Jermaine Taylor because of his refusal to allow those physical differences to be a factor.

But Pac relies on those physical advantages, and in this case with PBF not only will he not have them, he won't have the skill advantage or accuracy either. For all his footwork crudity, Pac's combinations involve a high level of skill, but defensively he is a primitive fighter. You must be defensively savvy and hard to hit to beat a much bigger man, period, unless you are the most iron chinned and toughest SOB on the planet, like a Duran (sans Hearns)

Sorry PadD, your argument holds no water. A shop worn DLH? Pacquiao just beat two shot fighters at 130, one if which he had beaten already at 126. Oh, and his other wins are over fighters moving up in weight ONLY to fight him then going back down. And then there is that whole, PBF is the Lineal WW champion. Is Pacquiao the champion at 130 yet? (He will be soon). Even Pacfans were impressed by what Mayweather's last performance.

Again, this has nothing to do with Pacquiao being smaller than PBF and having no shot at beating him at 147. Just thought I would indulge you.

because pac chooses to rehydrate wildly after the weight in. pbf could weigh at 160 if he so chooses and still function well. if you make them fight at pbf's weigh, it means pac will not train his ass off to reach 130. that also means he will not optimize his training as he will reach 147 very easily.

you have to remember that when it comes to the lower weights, class where they are fighting at is more often the not, the lest they could possibly go, which also means that they have to train very very well to get there. and that weight is 130 for pac, soon 135, pac will have to lift more weights to get to 147 and that means many things

I'm with PacDbest as far as the hope that pac beat PPF but I don't think pac has proven himself yet for 135lbs. Now if he wins CONSISTENTLY and CONVINCINGLY at 135lbs then probably he will be ready for 140lbs. But then again he needs tune up fights for the 140lbs before even thinking of PBF.

For me, first things first. He has to win CONVINCINGLY against JMM even before talking about going to 135lbs.

If PAC wins against JMM probably he can fight one more time at 130lbs just to SILENT Guzman fans that pac is ducking Guzman. .

But then again even if he wins against Guzman Valero fans will say PAC is ducking him.... another boxer would claim he is the worth opponent and pac is ducking him :patsch

First things first, pac should win CONVINCINGLY against JMM before even thinking of moving to weight categories from his current weight level.

That's absolutely right. Hatton was also less weight-drained than usual for the PBF-fight, so his chin should have been above its normal par, wherever that is (and there's probably not a huge amount of evidence on Hatton's chin at this point, apart from the PBF and Collazo fights).

Is it me, or is that not quite a lot? Wasn't Baldo linear? Judah one of the fastest in the sport? Shamba pretty darn good? Hatton the king of 140 with plenty of time to prepare for 147? Never mind 154, where he's only had one fight, but Floy is the king at 147, even if he ought to get fighting Cotto.
