Well with pacquiao vs clottey more or less done for march 13th, i seriously doubt floyd will be fighting in the month of march unless hbo plans to have 2 ppv's with 3 weeks with that being said does it increase the chances of the winner of the mosley/berto fight being able to fight floyd sometimes april with them 2 fighting january 30th ..being ready for march 13th wouldnt of been possible but if floyd was to announce his next fight is in april they could conceivably have the month of february off and train march early april and be 100percent what you guys think
Even if he did fight shane, he would look like a huge hypocrite. He called Shane out on taking roids. He said he is not a PPV attraction. He said he had 5 losses. So how is he going to explain taking the fight now? "oh, I meant, he isn't on roids now, he is a ppv attraction and his losses were all vs very tough fighters!"
I remember Ellerbe mentioning Mosley as a possible Floyd opponent long ago if the Floyd/Pac fight was not made. Might just be posturing but that looks like a great match up right now. We'll see after January 30
Yeah, I'd call him a huge hypocrite, even though I would be happy to see he signed it. How do you explain yourself taking a fight with a guy you said isn't worth your time? We all know shane is good, why didn't he just admit it?
Provided Mosley looks impressive in winning versus Berto, I actually think this could be a pretty big fight. Probably not on the magnitude of Floyd/Pac but as history has shown, fans like to come out of the woodwork with $ when there appears to be a legitimate threat of losing for a highly touted fighter.. Especially a fighter like Floyd
its all trash talk ..i very rarely take anyting professional boxers say on tv seriosuly the fact is there would be no way of criticizing him for taking a fight alot of people see as tougher than the pacquiao fight
PBF fighting the winner of SSM/Berto seems like the logical choice but some boxers these days dont care.
