Said he'll take 2 years off from boxing.

I think once the Paul Williams-Miguel Cotto-Kermit Cintron-Shane Mosley mess cleans itself up, He'll walk in and take on whoever the best is there.

I have no problem with Floyd's decision. I'm almost certain that he's just waiting for the rest of the welterweights to fix themselves first.

You got Cintron, Mosley, Williams, COTTO and Margo to name a few.

He'll wait til there's one guy left and then move in.

As much as I think Mayweather has already proven himself, I think he'd be hard pressed to beat someone like Williams, and the risk-reward consideration doesn't balance out well. So I think this is one reason why he's taking a break. Face it, ODH, was past prime and Hatton isn't a natural welterweight, he clearly belongs at 140.

Certainly, he'll fight again. He didn't even want to say he has quit, cause he knows he'll miss it, and will fight again.

Just let him have time to be away from it long enough to get bored with NOT fighting........and I predict he'll want Cotto.
