If Fraud somehow finds the courage to get in the ring with Cotto then Williams. . . . win lose or draw, my respect for him would increase 100%.

Miguel Cotto’s manager/trainer, Evangelista Cotto, told El Nuevo Dia that a May 3 superfight with Oscar De La Hoya is the preferred fight for the unbeaten Puerto Rican champion.

"Right now a fight with De la Hoya is more marketable than one with Mayweather," said Evangelista, "even though De la Hoya lost to Mayweather in his last fight and Mayweather won last night against Hatton, De La Hoya remains the most marketable....the other names that have been mentioned to fight with Miguel do not compare economically with a fight with De la Hoya."

In this day and age belts dont mean **** man, c'mon!!

12th pro fight he fought John Brown
14th pro fight he fought Cesar Bazan
16th pro fight he fought Rocky Martinez
    17th pro fight Demetrio Ceballos
Now to me the are good learning fights from just past their cell by date either former champs or fighters who have been in with former champs and given them a good fight.

    18th pro fight Carlos Maussa
    19th pro fight Victoriano Sosa
    20th pro fight Lovemore N'Dou
    21st pro fight Kelson Pinto
    22nd pro fight Randall Bailey
    23rd pro fight DeMarcus Corley
    24th pro fight Mohammad Abdulaev
    25th fight Ricardo Torres]
    26th fight Gianluca Branco
    27th pro fight Paulie Malignaggi
    28th Carlos Quintana
    29th pro fight Oktay Urkal
30th and 31st Zab Judah and Shane Mosley

Nowto me that is a quality resume he fought both Sosa and Corley 8mnth after Mayweather had fought them, and again, save from Pinto and Abdullaev, the rest have either fought for or been a world champion, although Quintana is obviously fighting Williams next!

Its just my view on Cotto, dont get me wrong he is my current fav fighter but i dont think ive got my tongue up his ass just yet:good

What makes you say Floyd wasn't as smart at 135? He was clearly closer to his prime there. His prime was at 130.

The Duran of the Leonard fight would beat the slower Floyd of nowadays a lot easier if you ask me. Floyd was a much better fighter at the lower weights.

Sweetpea do you think Floyds prime is at 130? I think i looks strong for the first time in his career at 147, he may not be as quick as he once was but i truly believe that if he stays in the game we may see the best yet from Floyd? p.s im not really a big Mayweather fan but you have to give props were props are due:good

I think the best from Floyd has passed. He has looked worse and worse with each passing fight to me. Sure, he doesn't take a lot of punishment, but he gets more and more defensive and less convincing with his wins.

Watch him at 130, much better to watch, more aggressive, more powerful, much faster. Just a much better overall fighter. That Floyd I may favor over any to fight at 130. At 147, while still a very good fighter, there are a couple I'd favor currently over Floyd.
