Agreed but I do feel he could have walked him down as the fight wore on. His misses, specifically the uppercut, if it would have landed would have put JMM on ***** ST. He just doesn't want to take the risk.
floyd missed on that big uppercut probably about 4 or 5 times in that fight he nailed jmm with a beautiful 3 piece in the 9th...he tried to go for it a couple times...i think there came a point where he just realized it wasnt going to happen and there was no reason to risk an injury(hand or shoulder)...any type of injury setback at this point would be devestating to floyd...imagine him having to sit out 8-10 right now cause he cracked on hand on marquez's rock? then there would be a line outside the esb forum of people waiting to get on here and say how he stupid he is for hurting his hand...there is way too much money/big fights ahead of him to risk trying to please a bunch of people he cant really please anyway....people will still be buying his fights and his checks wont decrease because he didnt knock anyone out
There's is not ONE person in this world who would not go have this much little work and fun for 20 000 000 + pay day
people have to understand floyds hands are degrading and he has always had problems with his hands so if i were him if i could just coast to a decision while also getting the rounds i need to refine my skills after a two year hiatus....i would rahter do so....plus JMM is no pushover he would connect too if floyd would have just opened up. I mean its just smart....Floyd does not have one punch because he raely sits on his shots. so nah i wouldnt risk my hands especially whent here are more lucrative fights out there.
