emmanuel did 700K with a nobody. His most recent fight was the worse of the decade, and there's a boycott going on. This fight won't be as big as it could be for those reasons but 650K is very low.

marg adds at least 100K and is perceived as threatening to the general public. They should easily do better than the Clottey fight.

 

Because this fight makes me sick.

I'll probably be off and have to sport some ***goty floyd loving avatar for a month, but we'll see.

i think itll do a million or close to it. a loss for pacquaio would have a huge impact on his career. first of all, no one would consider him the pound for pound best anymore. not if he loses against someone as limited in the skills department as margarito. secondly, it would destroy most of the hype surrounding his potential fight with mayweather. some people claim that their megabout has lost a lot of steam, but i beg to differ. in fact, its been talked about so much now that it has gathered a lot of momentum. that fight is now inevitable... unless margarito sees it differently. a margarito win wouldnt surprise me in the least. margarito is tough as nails. as long as he can land one punch he's willing to take three. if his chin holds up, he might even stop the mexicutioner.

 

marg isn't winning. He will mark up emmanuel up because it's an easy target to bust up, but he is not winning.

I am thinking 800+ every casual sports fan doesn't know about Margo's contreversy... and just see the size difference david vs goliath. They are definitely gonna pay to see it.
