Loma may be a bit more seasoned now in the pro ranks than a couple of years ago. Is his best weight class 126 pounds? Well yea it is. He's bigger for the weight class. And he could probably still make 126 now too. So I don't know why his best weight wouldn't be 126. It actually makes sense that it would be.
Oh, by prime I really meant to say prime weight class. At 126-130, he is probably TBE level. At 135, he's a small man. He'll be too muscle bound for his frame. He'll slow down, power won't be there as it is at say 126. Loma being a come forward fighter at a weight class where he walks around only 4lbs more than the weight limit is not a good thing. If there were an elite awkward pressure fighter, I'd have struggle picking Loma. Whitaker isn't a pressure fighter, but he's a TBE level fighter at 135. I'm not convinced Loma would be (suspected) TBE level.
My evaluation of fighters isn't based on opinions at circles that I frequent. As for hand velocity, mere hand velocity alone doesn't win fights if it is done with faulty technique. Indongo is fast, yet not properly trained. BTW Strange that Russel getting a shot at the world title after 20 something fights bothers you but Chenko getting a shot after just three with one loss doesn't.
I guess I'll address this part since the rest was extraneous rambling lol. Why would him getting a title shot bother me? I posted his record. Does that look like the type of competition a world champ should have his resume built on? Nope. That's the issue, the same one you didn't both to address in your long, meandering post. Maybe regroup and try again.
Still no clue where you even got this from. Never said that. My only motive was to explain to the ignorant that Gary Russell Jr (1) was never "seemingly unbeatable" (2) his experience at that point in time was against remarkably low level opposition. Both hold true. That's the substance. Not you projecting racism on me. Weirdo. Again, no. You're off on this weird tangent that has nothing to do with what I said originally.
