Tua wins this 8 times out of 10 IMO. Parker doesn't have the power to deter him, and Parker has been caught flush in pretty much every fight he has had other than Joshua. It's hard to see Parker landing enough on Tua from the backfoot to get a decision, the only fight I have seen him consistently on the backfoot was AJ and he barely landed a substantive punch all fight.
The Tua who put on the super brawl against Ibeabuchi rarely ever turned up and he was often in pretty poor shape and could appear disinterested very quickly in a fight if it wasn't going his way. Parker has the height, reach and decent enough skills and work rate to win a UD points decision on the back foot. Plus Parker has a decent enough chin to shake off the odd blow.
Parker on points, he has the right style to beat Tua, a mover with fast hands and Tua had slow feet, so he can't get close to Parker whilst Parker is moving and throwing fast hands
Parker is a good enough boxer with a good enough chin to evade Tua for 10 or 12 and absorb the errant shot that lands. Parker: Extremely wide UD.
I don't think Joe could hold him off. At some stage Tua would land that left hook like Whyte did. I'd go with Tua.
People say Parker is good on the back foot, but looking at his Andy Ruiz fight this didnt look that way to me. Tua would cause a lot of worry for Parker with his speed of hands and power when he puts him up against the ropes. Tua by KO in mid rounds
Both granit chins, one with Knock out power and the other with very quick hands. I would back Parker to out box Tua over 12 rounds.
I Love Parker. He Is quality. However he lacks the power and aggression needed at HW. Now Usyk Isn't In the Cruiserweight Div, I feel Parker would be better suited there.
Parker won a close and one that many feel was a controversial decision against Ruiz, whereas conversely Tua iced Ruiz in 19 seconds This content is protected
that left hook is so damn fast, not only does he hit hard with single hooks,he has the ability to double up or triple it with accuracy.
