I can see how you could say he had a good chin. His problem was stamina. He would gas out and it always seemed to me that he had a hard time moving fluidly - perhaps it was all the bulky muscle. He did not train like a boxer, but like a bodybuilder.
Yes i meant he wasnt easy to KO cold, he normally finished on his feet I think his chin was granite, it was is head where the problems were, hes the sort of guy who would freeze once he got clocked Bruno was big, could box (See Lennox) and had a decent chin, no way doed he beat Foreman, but it could be tough
I like Frank, but this is preposterous, we are talking different "levels" here. At his best, Frank was not at George's level. If George comes out like he did in Kingston & Caracas, and that's what he did do AT HIS PEAK, Frank couldn't cope. His jab wouldn't be quick enough to keep George off, He didn't have the footwork to get out of the way of George's attacks, and he didn't have the survival instincts to cope when caught by a big shot (see Cummungs round 1, Bonecrusher round 10 & Witherspoon round 11). I see Bruno being stunned by the first big shot he takes, then being battered by George's follow up attack until toppling to the floor or being rescued by the ref.
No way,Pedro. As Delboy Trotter would say. Prime Foreman would have been fast enough to cut the ring off on 'The Duke' and stop him before the halfway mark.
Pretty much what i was gonna say. Bruno will be in the fight and then George claps him, Bruno freezes.
