Peak George Foreman V Peak Rocky Marciano

You are wrong. It's the other way around. There is plenty of evidence to suggest taking it to Foreman and being on top of him is a very viable option. Up close Jimmy Young punked him for God sake all but for one round, Lyle nearly mugged him with a third of the skill as Rock, Ali sat on the ropes and pot shotted, slapped and manhandled him.

 

Yes cause Rocky was good but he never faced anyone like Foreman.

 

And just a ton of disrespect to say a great fighter would doo doo his pants over an opponent

 

I said after he got hit! Don’t go putting words in my mouth. Rocky was a animal I agree but he is getting destroyed by Foreman. And if u can’t have a little sense of humor o well

So now Rocky is as slick, cagey, and defensive as Young and as slippery as Ali fighting off the ropes countering.

 

Nothing very elusive about Marciano as his face after all his major fights attests, and remember he fought very few big bangers,certainly nobody remotely like Foreman. He gets murdered here ,and early.

 

Young did not take it to Foreman at all.Young was out on his feet in one round,he said later," George could have floored me with a sneeze." I fail to see any similarities between Young and Marciano nor Lyle and Ali?

 

Foreman would really hurt Rocky. Early too. Tough as nails the man was, but he's facing the wrong man here.

 

You’re not getting the point. Watch the fight, Young multiple times stands in front of Foreman and slaps him around. Lyle almost did the job, Ali was on the ropes where Foreman wanted him and he still couldn’t do sweet F all. My point is standing in the trenches isn’t suicide when we have so much evidence to suggest otherwise.

 

Nothing elusive about Foreman and he’s in with a big banger like Rocky it goes both ways. Marciano looks like Pep next to George.

 

Not the right opponent for Rocky. However, Marciano is no joe Frazier. He had two hands, had better eyesight and was harder to hit. Young George was easier to hit and lacked stamina. If Rocky can crowd and smother past the first 4 rounds he’s in with a real punchers chance albeit against a brutally strong fighter.
