Interesting one. Very much would depend on Joe's frame of mind. He definitely has the tools to win this one.

Joe Bugner can be floored, Joe Frazier decked Bug on July 2 1973 in London, England, Bugner arose but took a pretty good battering. Bugner will have to avoid the dreaded Ingo Bingo or else he will dream that he is in the 1965 Frankie Avalon, Annette Funicello movie Beach Blanket Bingo. Lol.

Joe got up though. He's a big strong boy.

True, but he did not fight aggressively after the knockdown, Ingo's opponents did not either, Eddie Machen did not on Sept 14 1958.

Ingo doesn't want any of that Hungarian smoke.

I've got Ingo all day in this match-up. Joe is far to hittable and that is not a good thing against a guy like Ingo.

Porous defense, smoke might get extinguished by a Ingo Bingo.

I’m going to favor Ingo. Bugner was a decent fighter but he wasn’t aggressive or powerful enough to stop Johansson and I think ingo would be more active. Only hesitation I have is that Johansson didn’t have much late round experience where as Bugner did. Probably a tough fight.
