Now that Juanma and Gamboa has entered the 126 lb (or 122 to 130) division. The same division/s that the 3 mexican legends has lord from 10 up to 3 years ago. What if these 2 up and coming fighters was born around the same age as them. How will it affect their legacy had these 3 slug it out with these 2 young ones? Rather will they all duck each other? (i.e. EM and JMM never fought, JMM and MAB fought quite late)
What's your screen name all about dude? And JMM, Barrera, and Morales all pistol whip Gamboa like he was a little girl at this point. Gamboa has been fighting subpar opposition, and not come through unscathed in all of those encounters. Any other answer would be outlandish in my judgment.
well put it this way Gamboa beats all of them via TKO except for the 3 mexicans. they would whoop his ass. Lopez does well but looses to all of them too (hamed also beats lopez)
agree with this... i don't know how good gamboa and juanma will be in a few years but as of now, i pick morales, mab, and jmm over those two.
this has got to be Punch13's alt. He's ****ing OBSESSED with this thread topic, and he will keep making it until someone tells him Gamboa can whoop one of the three mexicans. Yuri kills them all, first 50 seconds of the first round ok? You can stop posting this over and over.
:good Well said Addie!! Gamboa has huge potential (Despite the fact that he is 27) but to compare him (at present) h2h, with those ATG's, at their peak, can only result in anyone doing so stating that Gamboa gets tkod/ko'd!
:good This is exactly how I see it!! It is far too early to question how Gamboa and JML would fare against those three ATG's and anyone who does so simply cannot expect any other response than that which has (Thus far) been delivered. This thread will be far more interesting (Or not! It depends on JML and Gamboa!!) in 2-3 years time!
Ignorant post! Cuba has defeated Mexico 98% of the time in International Competitions, amateur or pro Cuba always defeats Mexico. I don't take away Mexico's accomplishments as I love my Mexican brothers but Cuba is the Island of boxing... :good Gamboa is Olympic Champ, World amateur Champ, 4 times Cuban National Champ, PanAm Champ, has insane speed, raw punching power, awesome combos and angles, what more do you want? I got something for you thinking like that, those 3 Mexicans never fought any Cuban professional my friend, that's why they were so successful. But just give Gamboa and the other Cubans more time, I am sure years from now all of your opinions will change... The 3 Mexicans were good but not unbeatable, they never had the opportunity to face " El Ciclon de Guantanamo "... Gamboa KO's all three...
hypothetical threads only lead to nonsense discussions...who knows? so far neither gamboa or lopez had accomplished what those 3 did yrs ago... but who knows?
