When would you say Floyd was at his absolute peak? I personally think around the Judah, Baldomir, De la Hoya fight era was his peak. But I know there's a school of thought where folks think it's at Lightweight. What say you? :)

I actually think his best weight was 130 …so I’m gonna say Diego Corrales…which is also his best performance

But now I’m tempted to change my answer…because he looked really good against Phillip Ndou as well

He wasn't at his peak in either of those fights because that wasn't his best weightclass. How many stoppages did Mayweather have at Welterweight ? compared to when he was at Super Featherweight ? That answers your question.

It's where he looks the best as a complete fighter as he was aggressive but still had great defence.

I happen to think that the best version of Floyd was the Gatti fight. Not saying that he was the best, but he gives every 140 lbs fighter a real fight.

His best win is Corrales. He also put an amazing performance against Gatti. This was near his peak when I think something happened to his hands and he also started really cherrypicking.

He had a double peak. The first peak was against Corrales. He was the best 130 h2h of all time. He was more active and moved around a lot. The second peak was for Marquez and Mosley. He was more calculated and conservative by then and had filled out enough to be strong at 147. He wasted no punches or movement.

He did different things at different times, he was ever evolving.

I'd say he physically peaked against Hatton. Put on a strong performance and got a spectacular knockout. Anywhere between 05-07 is where he peaked.

When he beat Sharmba Mitchell and Henry Brusseles I thought he was at his physical peak. He was great at 140
