Good fight, I think Crawford could do this. Manny I’ve always thought struggles against the very best boxers and though I rate Crawford lower than some I think his boxing ability can overcome Pacs whirlwind physicality and athleticism

Pacquiao edges it up to 140, after that the size of Crawford and his Victor Conte supplements out-weigh Alex Ariza's potions and make it a mismatch.

Crawford wouldn't have beaten Mayweather, Marquez, or Pacquiao, I think. The Pacquiao that destroyed Hatton would decimate Bud at 147.

Crawford's superior strength, countering punching and versatility would be a little too much for Manny. Exciting fight though.

I love JMM but there is no world in which he beats Bud Crawford.

Not sure how Crawford deals with a peak Manny's speed and movement. He never faced a fighter with Manny's style or skillset. Khan was shot by the time they fought and he was the fastest fighter he ever faced.

Gamboa was every bit as fast as that Khan and probably every bit as fast and fluid as a prime Pacquiao

How so? JMM's resume and best wins and performances are so far ahead of Crawford's. I think Marquez would beat every single person on Crawford's resume, apart from Canelo, but that's only because he is too small.

I don't think the resume matters here. Marquez really isn't very elite once you force him to chase after someone. It's why Norwood beat him, Mayweather easily beat him and his fight with John was so boring. He made for it in small part by being very good at countering, and very good at drawing leads but if someone was disciplined enough to not engage, he'd get stuck. He just struggled against a specific style and Crawford would definitely be able to assume that style.
