What’s up with all these threads matching Marciano up against huge ATG killers? The guy was 185lb for chrisakes. Let’s see some threads pitting him against men his own size or smaller.
He said 187/188 was his peak weight, which was what he finished off at, although drained fat & muscle to reach that, walking around at a little over 200. An Tyson was only huge (compared to previous eras) in muscle, obviously not in height or wingspan. But I agree with your overall point. Nobody whose peak weight was in the 180's is likely to beat the best, much larger HWs.
If this were a draw, then my whole faith in life would dramatically collapse.! Nothing would make sense.. Ever again.
yes In your mind but even then need rematch & out of shape Douglas to get 1 win in 2 fight. is it good?
Mike Tyson ain't losing to a CW. I don't wanna hear about Holyfield either because the Tyson Holyfield beat was not the same Tyson that conquered the HW division. Mike held every conceivable advantage over Rocky, like literally every single one. He'd run him over quickly
yes. so what the point? he beat Tyson but if he come bad out of shape 15 pound heavy he lose.Ok yes. may be lose with every other 1990 ranked heavy also at that time. if he come in bad shape. how is this proof as good worth for Tyson? I just trying to understand what it means to you. why you mention?
