    IMHO if Lidocaine-Xylocaine is illegal on every other state/internationally for Boxers why in the heck is legal in Nevada?

    That is a PED. If he (the boxer) cant feel pain that drug is enhancing his performance. How about the mental aspects of the drug? Just like any other drug it has some serious physiological effects. Does he belive that it will help him? Remember, mind over body?

    Should be banned everywhere. Who is to say that the Lidocaine-Xylocaine is not spread through his body by the blood stream and ever so slightly, increasing his ability to take more punishment/pain?

    I'm no doctor, but its very interesting getting an expert to talk about this.

    So the question is: Is FMJr. on PEDs?

    This is why I find the whole "100% all natural" catch phrase of Mayweather, his team and all his blind fans, ridiculous.

    1. He is not "100% all natural" because he is injecting a drug that enhances his performance (i.e. Performance-Enhancing-Drug, duh, it's not the commission's problem that he was stupid enough to break his hand), and;

    2. He is only "technically 100% all natural" and only in Nevada. How silly is that?

    3. If he did stop injecting it, he is only "presently 100% all natural", if that is even true. Still silly for a person who claims to be "all talent".

    Which is why, as always, FMJ outside of the ring = clown at best.

    It's as crazy as Clinton saying technically, he did not have sex with Lewinsky since there was no penetration. Like that was gonna make it any better.:patsch

    Floyd doesn't inject anything into his hands for pain relief. His hands started to heal over time with treatment, time off, and better wrappings. And, he doesn't seem to throw as much as he used to.

    USADA does the testing.

    By the way it is not illegal in every other state. Get your facts together.

    Number 1, where's the proof it's illegal in every other state?

    Number 2, in Vegas, you are not allowed to use xylocaine I believe within a week or two of the bout. It is tested for.

    It doesn't matter because USADA does the testing. They care about their rules, not Nevada.

    This is old territory that has been covered.

    Actually, Xylocaine is not on the list of banned subtances by WADA. The NSAC is the one who tests for it.

    It is not illegal in every other state. In Nevada you must get permission to use it if you have a hand injury. You can't even use it on the entire hand, just the injured part. You must also take a test to make sure it is out of your system 6 to 7 days prior to fight night. It is basically used while in training for the most part. So a fighter who has received an injection doesn't even go into a fight with a numb hand bc it isn't numb bc it hasn't been used in a week. Now slash this thread.
