I’ve always criticises Loma for not unifying and even though I think he washes pedraza I have to be consistent and say it’s the right fight for Loma if he is to go for undisputed.

A 3 weight World Champion after 12 fights yet 'needs to step up the competition' after this fight?

    What do some expect?

    Undisputed HW in summer 2020?

    Only fought once.

Round 4 Pedraza started to take control and then round 5 he absolutely dominated Davis. @Badbot posted the full fight earlier in this thread.

Wilfred Benitez was KOing guys when he was a teenager.
So did Canelo, Tyson, Duran, Benavidez, Inoue and pretty much any other world class boxer who got fast tracked at a young age.

I forgot where Pedraza unraveled, it seemed as if he was gaining a strategic advantage and then unwisely decided to match bravado with Davis and things fell apart. I could easily see Pedraza winning a rematch if he remained focused like the Beltran fight. Keep in mind I take absolutely nothing away from Davis that night, he remained confident and supremely fresh and explosive which is what makes him a unique talent.

Watching Wilfred in his prime was fun....I’ve watched a handful in YouTube and for me it’s hard to imagine a more talented era for the weight classes (hagler, hearns, SRL, Duran, Benitez) just a sick bunch of fighters.

    And they were so young!
Benitez was a 3 weight champ by 22 or something like that.
Leonard, Hearns and Duran all became champs in their early 20s. Hagler was the less fortunate of the bunch so it took him longer. But they were all monsters.
And those were just the elites of the era. The rest were just as ambitious.

How about age/inactivity AND size nonsense?

And I'm afraid there's a very good reason Walters has been able to live off his purse for 2 years...
