Yeah he did, I'd love to see what he could with an athlete like Berto.

Yes. He had Cotto ready and you can tell he has passion for what he does and seemed to really care for Cotto.

Don't think Berto speaks Spanish, and Pedro don't speak English........ but I get your point.

He did more for Cotto as a motivator IMO.
Miguel always had the skill, Diaz has gave MC a new set of nuts.

Look forward to seeing more from this trainer.

Conditioning wise that was probably the best Cotto has ever been. He was breathing heavily in the mid rounds yet he did not gass out. He was able to recover, even though he was working very hard every round.

I am a marathon runner and I know a thing or two about conditioning. What he was doing with Cotto in training measuring lactate levels in Cotto's blood is very high tech stuff.

Cotto has the skill and Diaz put him in the best possible shape to use the natural talent. That was probably the best he can ever look against Floyd.

    Great job.

Great job considering the short time they have been together. This was the closest vintage Cotto I have seen. Perhaps even a better version than vintage. This guy knows what he is doing.

Yeah, I can see him doing wonders with a prospect like Fortuna.

I think he should be a S&C coach, but the boxing aspect was typical Cotto.

Isn't Fortuna training in Oxnard with Sergio Martinez? Or am I thinking of somebody else?

Yes he did. Would have like to have seen more urgency in the corner though in the championship rounds. That was a good version of Cotto though
