it doesent have **** to do with what he has done in pro boxing.wtf man. some of the best trainers in the world hasnt even trained a single world champion . he is well eduacated imo. it comes from experience. like other aging trainers hes been in the sport for many years, and thats what makes u a good trainer. u can take a footballplayer and let him train mayweather, cotto, tyson you name it. that wount make him the top trainer in the world

Helped cotto give floyd his toughest fight in recent memory.

He is 1-0 against Robert Garcia and a win Saturday would make that 2-0 which would have to throw him into top 2 or 3.

Great post :good , I voted # 1 ( Skill wise ) , I mean ; if they gave that uneducated idiot ( Garcia ) the " trainer of the year " award then Pedro is # 1 in my list .

top 10 for me, hasnt shown enough for me yet. He definitely made cotto look better but still has some losses. See how rigo does, if rigo wins ill rate him higher

underrated trainer, i want rigo to win so they can both gain some recognition but i also really like donaire, that'd be the end for a while before another filipino fighter will become a star.

He has a deeper understanding of the science of fighting than 99% of top trainers, and was a student of Sagarra. While he hasn't had much experience in the pro's, he has been a full time trainer of elite boxers for over 20 years.

Top 10, did great work with Cotto in their first two fights together, but he's too untested to be fairly named above Roach, Garcia, Beristain, Hunter and the likes of Shields and Scully and EMM.

Diaz was giving Rigo some great corner advice. Them two together are a formidable force!

Would like to see him work with other fighters...

I can say it. Better than Shields and Scully.

And Garcia too. He got just as schooled tonight as Donaire did.
