Is Donaire a Top Rank fighter?
If he is, then Fernandez' contention may hold some water, but if he's not, then Fernandez is pulling articles out of his arse.

Whole too many eggs in one basket thing...you stack a card to much it might not be as viable. In the end people are tuning in and rocking up to see Manny, so having a Foreman-Santos or a Soto-Diaz as you main support instead of Donaire-Montiel probably wont make a big difference.
Donaire probably demands a larger purse than those blokes aswell...he was getting quality coin for fighting stiffs when he left Shaw but his purses didnt really seem to grow around that time because he continued to be matched poorly.
