Round 1 Claveras is out like a bat from hell. Guevara is meeting Claveras' early aggression head-on. Guevara fortifies his position in the middle of the ring, letting Claveras throw his best shots. Guevara is jogging laterally, turning Claveras, going left, staying clear. Guevara lines up body shots while dodging Claveras' right hand corkscrews up top, patiently biding his time and picking spots, eventually backing Claveras off with intelligent pressure and body work. Right hands on the chin and lefts on the body from Guevara. BIG left hook on the liver as Guevara starts to gain purchase and drive his man into the ropes, and Claveras is done for! KO1!!
I don't know that I'd completely write Claveras off based on this as just a padded record fake. Guevara just played the matador role very well and proved to be a capable finisher once he found a weakness.
Whoa...yeah. I'm noticing right now that some Tweets on it go back at least an hour. Televisa carried it from 1:30am EST (11:30pm local time in Sinaloa)
