What a war this would be, Pedrosa the technically superior, faster, slicker, Nelson a man who was simply a physical beast. I go with technical superiority as I usually do to get the job done in a close back and forth war

yeah me too...Maybe I didn't word it quite right. Even though Pedroza is a great inside fighter, Nelson would prefer to the fight take inside. Pedroza has a better chance of winning fighting the majority of the fight from the outside, and picking his opportunities on the inside. Very hard fight to pick. Lean towards Nelson though being the aggressor and forcing the fight.

    Ah got you.

I think of it like this, Pedroza will do better on the inside than Nelson will on the outside. So I slightly favour Pedroza.

I can't argue with that logic...in fact I agree with it. but what makes me pick Nelson, albeit barely is that Nelson could really press the action when he wanted, as he did against the lightweight champ Whitaker in their fight.

Yes I can definitly see Nelson forcing the fight more and making itmore of an inside fight, I really just think pedroza is comfortable enough anywhere in the ring to take the decision.

I see your point...and definitely believe Pedroza is underrated. How would you see Pedroza and Saldivar? I think Saldivar would edge it myself with accurate combinations. After watching more film of Saldivar, he is pretty quick handed, and carries some power.

Not sure. I have been watching alot of pedroza recently and I havent watched Saldivar in a while. Would not like to comment on it, although the last 5 rounds would be brilliant to see.
