Well PEDs in sport in general really..... I think people need to wake up and realise ALL top level sportsmen will be seeking an advantage ...I know in combat sports in particular people get very angry when they think of 'doping' because of the dangers involved but until the testers have a similar budget (never going to happen) to the sports that they are trying to police it is an impossible job... I heard a fact that the WHOLE budget for testing/policing cycling per year is less than Wayne Rooneys wage.... Pizzing into the wind imo
UKAD endorse the use of PEDs - backdated bans = zero punishment. What a precedent that has been set now and all UK cheats were partying all night on hearing the Fury outcome.
I think the reality of the situation is way more severe than that. Plenty of drugs cheats don't even get banned and named. UKAD just have a quiet word with them. People are going on about the Furys getting let off lightly with a "backdated" ban but the most striking thing about this case is that UKAD waited 16 months before they charged the Furys at all. That not only gave Tyson and Hughie Fury a decent case to fight UKAD's charges, it actually suggests athletes' positive test results are routinely being swept under the carpet. The Furys almost certainly have lied about not taking nandrolone. But they likely were telling the truth when they said UKAD originally advised them about the "elevated levels" and told them to "adjust their diet". It's only when Tyson Fury became a national hate figure and pariah that UKAD decided to charge him and Hughie with the offence. If Tyson Fury had been a popular as Tim Henman or Jessica Ennis, there's absolutely no way that this would have happened.
Yea everyone on peds My cousin is a high level international rugby coach and he knows every minute detail on peds , half life, detection times , masking agents and so on. He's never touched a drug in his life why does he need to know his information?
