i would like to know how well do we know about PED's ....does it really make an athlete a super athlete , like in boxing does it make an ordinary fighters into a JMM, PAC, PBF, SRL or in basketball into a MJ, kobe , LBJ.

can someone give me clear facts about this and what specific PED's are we referring to....co'z its been debated over and over and almost all boxers and conditioning coaches are being accused of using it right now....

just want to know more about it....

    Skill?

By taking PEDs its not going to make you throw a better hook, or a straighter jab.

It does give you the ability to train harder, longer to perfect those skills.

    Confidence.

If I took PEDs and I felt faster, stronger, felt my training was going good. That would be a great confidence booster... dont you think?

The term itself is self explanatory, you have to be a very insecure athlete to use it.

There are many types of PED. Most of them increase testerone levels and makes the athlete train harder, longer, and muscle heals up faster so you can repeat process often and intense. Obviously will improve stamina, strength, speed and etc. More training = more results.

Do PEDs increase resistance to punches? Example, would cotto survive that left hook by pacquiao if he were taking PEDS?

10% increase in performance and recovery, etc. Brings an athlete that much closer to his or her genetic potential.

How are anabolics and androgens much different, morally and ethically speaking, then the dude who has tons of money and can afford the best nutritional choices, trainers, and training as opposed to the guy struggling to make ends meet, has no money for food and is barely able to afford shoes?

Why is one seen as an unfair advantage and the other not? Should a guy say his opponent had an unfair advantage because he ate Cheerios everyday and the other guy ate porridge?

Just commenting on the whole unfair advantage aspect of PED's. If you'd like however, we could get into a discussion how PED's actually aid athletes based on their anti-catabloic properties far and beyond their anabolic advantages, how they will help inhibit cortisol secretion, and aid in protein synthesis...

If he had popped a bunch of methyltestosterone tabs like PEZ, ya, it would actually help him survive the punches better. Would end up pissing him off. Many powerlifters eat those like candy to get 'mad at the weights' and increase their aggression to the point even their own mother's are enemies.

    chris benoit tragedy.

steroid abuse (roid rage) MAY have contributed to the violence done to Josie Harris and her kids.

JMM should look into the damages and tragedies this drug has done before it's too late.
