I have been on the fence about this one for a long time; should I discredit any win that was proven to have peds involved? Or should I assume that all the top guys are on them?

I really would like it if peds were not a part of the picture at all, of course.

What are some good fights where peds were proven?

I have zero inside knowledge, but would be amazed if most top fighters weren't on PEDs. Surely boxing is less regulated and more corrupt than cycling....

I'm going to agree for choosing Canelo since Clenbuterol is in the same drug class as the asthma rescue medication Albuterol as it have bronchodilating properties to increase lung breathing capacity along with enhancing cardiovascular endurance. I won't agree with choosing Floyd though as although the method of how Floyd got supplements were very suspect via IV, the supplements he used weren't performance enhancing. Floyd just used Vitamin C and saline (to help flush the vitamins to his body) as he seemed very weight drained and losing that much water weight to make weight can make you lose lots of electrolytes and vitamins. To be less suspect and controversial, Floyd should just take his vitamins orally.

    I would choose:
#Shane Mosley after winning the De la Hoya rematch- took EPO (Erythropoietin) which is a medication used for anemia (lack of red blood cells) which means Mosley added more red blood cells into his body so he can intake more oxygen and have more endurance.
#Roy Jones after beating Richard Hall-took anabolic steroid/androgen androstenedione (testosterone precursor) to build muscular strength (you know the classic steroids ppl often think of)
#James Toney after beating John Ruiz- took Stanozolol (originates from intermediary testosterone precursor dihydrotestosterone, so this drug is also an anabolic steroid/androgen).
#Evander Holyfield when caught in 2007-took HGH (human growth hormones) where it help accelerate cell regeneration.

I'm leaning towards assuming they're all juicing.

Most fans just don't care, some pretend that they do. People just want entertainment.

PED's don't make anyone fighter better. They may enhance some abilities where the man may be lacking like stamina or focus but if you could fight well before the bout you can't fight anyway.
Example is Brock Lesnar and his UFC protected run. He fought all of his fight on drugs and loss quite a bit at high levels. I think it should be legalized to a degree to make the sport more interesting and entertaining to the casual public.

    Pre-Memo Marquez

Landed numerous haymakers in the first 2 fights and couldn't drop Pac.

    Post-Memo Marquez

    Dropped and stopped Pac.

    Pure nonsense.

You say PEDs enhance stamina, lets talk about that.

PEDs enhance stamina and recovery rates. This allows fighters to train harder, longer and recover quicker. This enables them to be better prepared for a fight than someone who isn't taking them.

You say PEDs enchance focus. This allows fighters to learn more, be hit less in sparring and perform better in a sport that is measured in inches.

PEDs won't teach you how to fight, sure, but if they didn't make fighters better then no fighter would risk taking them.

I disagree, I think most real boxing fans care very much, and want to see the best man win fairly.

Of course they make fighters better, why on earth would they risk so much to take them?

Every elite fighter is on PED's of some kind it's foolish to think otherwise.
