I don't think it's foolish, lots of posters more knowledgeable than myself think there are lots of clean fighters around now. I just don't really know what to make of it all.

I DO know that, the last thing I want to do, is to start blaming my bad predictions on the other guy's 'bacne' & dumb crap like that.

Seems like no one ever just loses anymore, there's always an excuse.

I think the best bet is just to judge glaringly obvious PED users in their prime.
These are the ones that have superhuman changes to their physique, go up multiple classes and bully bigger men, delay the ageing process to an absurd degree, suddenly develop powers that weren't seen before etc.
When these people are busted it's quite obvious they are cheaters, it all adds up.
Even when they're not busted it can be obvious they are cheaters.

    It gets complicated after that.
There are different levels of PEDs.
And different levels of masking PEDs.
So you can be judging someone who gets caught for a small PED while passing a guy who doesn't fail tests but takes more serious PEDs.
The laughable situation in that case is all these 80s/90s/00s HWs who were juiced out of their minds but weren't busted because the testing was so lax and corrupt and history views them as 'clean' compared to someone now who gets busted.

Then you get people like Kovalev who was busted in the twilight of his career after being on the slide, coming up against Clenelo and suffering an humiliating defeat. Now, was he always on the stuff? Or did he turn to it post-prime to stop his slide, out of spite after dealing with Canelo? It's hard to know, but it seems more likely to me he went to the dark side later on to climb out of a hole. But it's also possible he always did it (but then he was never caught, so why did he suddenly become so bad at concealing it?). We'll never really know.

    I really do not care.

most top boxers blatant breaking the rules in front of us almost every match.
hold hit & headbutt & hit on break & elbow & wrestle & push & low blow
& is very rare to see points deduction or disqualified
& usually if penalised is bias referee

but we accept it as the professional boxing

    same with Performance Drugs
is accepted because we know they all trying to win & hurt the opponent
    is what we want
