What is your opinion about this style that was developed by Cus and Mike Tyson? How many of you do practice it?

Great boxing style, but to execute it properly you need to have tremendous stamina and powerful thighs. Constantly bobbing and weaving is like doing squats/mini-squats which gets tiring. You also have to keep chasing the opponent which again you need great stamina.

You should also be somewhat short but it's not a necessity unless you very tall with long reach (like Lennox lewis). You also need to throw your combinations very fast when on the inside (after you get there).

Loads of instructional videos on this channel.

Haven't watched many to be honest - but the ones I have watched seem pretty good.

i dont like the peekaboo style because it takes great athletic ability to pull it off in an effective way.

for your averagely talented boxer, it carries to many disadvantages. for example if you are confronted by a much taller Opponent that has a good jab, you are gonna run into huge Problems. the guys jab will be constantly on your gloves.........in other words you wont be able to see. even if you are capable of blocking all those Jabs, the Impact of the blows will Keep you at his arms length. you will be forced to more or less blindly march in and you will get picked off for sure.

on top of that, the peekaboo Approach is a very "frontal" Approach, meaning that your shoulders pretty much "square up" ..........leaving both a wider target as well as taking reach off your jab.

personally, i prefer to teach a very different appoach: Point the shoulder of your jab Hand to the front. hide your chin behind the shoulder. carry your right Hand next to the chin, elbow in protecting your liver. carry the left Hand lower. this maximizes the reach of your jab......plus you jab upward which makes it hard to see coming by your Opponent.
and your bodies target area becomes smaller.
then slip you opponents jab and Counter it with your up jab........hugely effective against taller opponents.

a Sparring Partner of mine is 6´6.......and im only 6´0. using this style im actually able to land my jab against him. trust me, it works.

This sounds like basic, textbook boxing (upjab aside) that you're teaching.
