I was wondering if there was a difference between the two. I hear them used interchangably, but I think they are two differnce guard/stances.

Peek a Boo is used by Tyson and Patterson we all know.

And High Guard is the Winky Wright, Josh Clotty, Abraham, Strum style??

What are the benefits/advantages for using one over the other?

Peek-A-Boo is really only best with headmovement which gives countering and distance closing opportunities. High guard is hard to break but leaves no room to come back, ex. Abraham vs Froch.

peek-a-boo is hard to master compleatly and if it doesnt fit your fighting style its no idea to try it out but its a solid guard that is arguably the best but its more for infighters cuz as said by boxinglad123 it needs much head movement and bobing like Tyson use to do

everyone knows what the peek a boo is, isnt high guard what you call it when fists are at forehead height? like when a guy is on the ropes and trying to close everything down.
