Wow, 2 quality operators here Mel.

I've not seen enough high quality film to support a confident prediction H2H.

Driscoll went around 59-3-6 at FW, beating ATG, but past prime George Dixon x 3, ATG Abe Attell, Harry Mansfield, Matty Baldwin and Pedlar Palmer. I rank him #15 all time at FW.

Kid Chocolate went around 85-5-4 in fights contested at FW, beating Lew Feldmen x 2, Fidel LaBarba (2-0-1), Tommy Watson and Al Singer. I rank him #18 all time at FW.

Based on resume, there's not much to choose between these 2 great fighters.

On one hand, Kid Chocolate is about as ‘modern’ as an old timer can look. One of the most skilled boxers from his era.

On the other hand, Driscoll was just such a wonderful and unique technician, probably a top 10 jabber ever. His win over a prime Abe Attell might be the most impressive featherweight win of his era as well, so he was clearly an insane talent

Chocolate had more fights at the top, but Driscoll’s dominance against the best featherweight of his generation suggests he’s on a similar level. If not greater considering Chocolate had more losses against better comp, however I would also like to get an opinion from others

Driscoll had a good right hand too.
