He has a few wins under his belt since he started on his comeback. Anyone seen him fight and how does he look ?

Pele was a very welcome addition to the British landscape at heavyweight. He was always in good shape and could certainly punch. His only problem was he had NO CHIN to speak of.This guy used to get hurt rountinely and badly. He then went back to his breadn and butter in the K1 and Muay Thai tournaments picked up some horrible injuries and now at the age of 33 is back. Lets hope he can make a diffrence again.

I've seen all of P's comeback fights and looks better than ever since linking up with Richie Woodhall. I was also in the gym when he sparred with Tim Witherspoon.

Although Tim was knocking on 50 – the American was also talking comeback at the time - he still had the moves and power of old. However, P knocked him about without so much as breaking sweat.

No longer looking to splatter everyone in one, Reid takes his time, works behind his impressive 80-inch jab and lets the punches come. Chris Woollas, brutally knocked out in one, and the recently jailed Paul King, knocked out with one punch in the last round in the first of the Brummie’s comeback fights, both said they’d never been hit as hard.

Pele (one of the nicest, most humble men you could wish to meet) isn't one to bad-mouth anyone but he has said he will demolish John McDermott when they fight in a British title eliminator later in the year. P will, by the way, be back out in an eight-rounder in Brum in February

well as i assume your reid's manager

it's alright. us brits like him he as scurla said a very accepted addition to the heavywieght scene...always in shape, decent skills, can punch not bad stamina and is a decent enough guy to like....just chinny...but like almost all strengths and weaknesses you dont need them all to become a champion but this is his glaring weakness

The knockout of Paul 'the ******' King was a pretty impressive result. Pele is always fun to watch he needs a big win though to capture the armchai fans imagination.... Gamble and put him in with Sprott, Williams or Audley. Win and he's in the pack- lose and he's still one of the crowd.

Pele was the other man at one time as the prospect.. Danny was the boss and Pele the next best , then one dreadful summer Julius went on and almost **** the bed, beating them both one after the other getting himself a name for being a giant killer and earning his shot at Tyson.. Pele was the most flexible heavy we had and he was strong and quick.. I think he was overmatched a little then in a disasterous moment of madness they slid him into the worst match of all time in British heavyweight history , whenHide fought Klitshko in London the put him in with the very classy American contender and former world cruiserweight champ Orlin Norris.. he was exposed by the Californian in 2 minutes flat by Ko, and it really hurt his confidence,, I hope he comes back , a nice feller and always exciting to watch..
