Juan Ma has ended the career of the real deal in P.I. boxing..Give him cred for that.

I see what you mean by showing how tough of a ******* he is. But that was in the process of getting his ass kicked. Now you can look good when getting your ass kicked, but still, by the basis of it, it is a shameful thing. I know when i got my ass kicked, people commented on my chin/toughness, but **** that, it still sucked

Agreed...I think we also learned that JuanMa can take a punch as well...Gerry caught him with several hooks that had me a little nervous...what a great fight...this is why we watch boxing...

I predicted a JuanMa UD, and if Roach didn't stop it that would of been the case..with that said it was probably the right call by Freddy...

Either a Lopez UD or a Lopez late TKO victory would have been fair predictions. Heck even a Lopez late KO would have been a decent prediction the way the man just kept punching without getting tired.

    That kid is a beast.

It sucks less when everybody is saying you're going to get sparked out. Gerry defied a lot of people, and in a way, he's a winner. People need to understand, this wasn't a fight on an even playing field. Penalosa was old, a 115lb at best, fighting one of the biggest punchers in the world at the peak of his powers. He had no business taking those shots.

Donaire impressed the hell out of me in his last outting. That guy can put punches together with the best of them. Great great fighter.

I didn't ....I predicted a 1st round...I never really studied Penalosa and he proved to me that he has a tremendous heart and chin....after reading about him...he is a hell of a nice guy as well.
    Props to Penalosa.
