Dana White has stated that a super-fight between Canadian Georges St. Pierre and B.J. Penn could take place later this year, as he stated in a TSN.ca interview.

"We'll see how this whole thing shapes out. The kid did what I asked him to do. And I don't disagree with him and GSP being a great fight and I think that he could compete at 170 and stay there

When somebody's that freakishly talented, they sort of coast on their talent," White added. "And now that he's getting up there in age - when he was 22, 23, he was impossible to deal with - but now he's getting up there and really wants to leave his mark on the sport, he's been a lot easier to deal with. He's fired up, back in the gym. Yeah he wants the Georges St. Pierre fight
    "

Gotta love UFC. If there is a good fight to be had, they make it. Can't wait for this one.

GSP will take it more convincingly this time, possibly by stoppage in a championship fight.

GSP by Decision. When Penn gets tired he won't be able to stop GSPs takedowns and over 5 rounds, at the pace GSP would push....he'd get tired. Of course there's a chance Penn could win by TKO or submission, I just don't think that would be the best bet.

Yah, but since BJ is moving up in weight and GSP is considered by some as the best guy in all of MMA right now, Penn's rep won't really suffer if he loses.
And holy ****, the guy will be a legend if he can pull of a win over George. Twice in his career he'll have moved up to welterweight to defeat a dominant champ.

I think it will be tough for B.J. to take him. GSP is to strong to control on the ground....I think a flash kO is his best chance. It's good to see B.J. want to fight the best, after beating Sherk I don't see him losing any time soon at LW

BJ's stamina is better at LW, he's never been as good at higher weights as he is at LW. The only thing that had the first fight close in anyone's mind was the first round where BJ caused GSP to bleed.
