Did you all miss the last round? Frampton won it easily after weathering the brief storm.

The fight was easy to score. Frampton won practically every round up until the 8th because Quigg was afraid of his life to box with Frampton while Frampton was fresh and strong. Then Quigg realised he was way behind so went for the jugular, this coincided with Frampton tiring and led to Quigg winning a few close rounds (four maximum in the whole fight)

In the last round when both fighters were tired and Carl knew he had to step it up to cement his win, he did exactly that and boxed the ears off Quigg. No problem.

Carl did exactly what he had to do to win the fight. People saying if Quigg stepped it up earlier he'd have won are deluded. If Quigg stepped it up earlier Carl would have made adjustments and won more rounds. That argument would be valid if Carl was hanging on at the end but he wasn't, he showed he can beat anything Quigg brings when he needs to.

People are also neglecting the fact that a rematch would be in Belfast. Quigg hasn't a hope against Frampton in Belfast, this chapter is closed.

    They're insane.:deal

    118-110 or 117-111 I think 116-112 was a stretch.

End of round 11, Frampton look shook x2 times at the very end, and he was fangin' for that bell, but round 12 he was back to his normal self. Besides that, Quigg should of kicked up that action far far earlier. He was landing the clearer and harder shots over Frampton IMO when they did exchange. He just had way way way too much down time in between when he exchaged. Dunno if he was scared about his gas tank or his chin, but oh well, what can ya do.

Agreed. That was possibly the worst I've seen Frampton, at least physically, and he still won fairly easily. Quigg is too basic to have a hope against him. Doesn't warrant a rematch imo.
    He won't trouble Rigo though.

8-4 at the worst, I had it 9-3. Quigg knew from the off he had no chance of winning tha fight unless he got the KO. He was convincingly beaten.

Quigg was shocked to hear he was losing.

"What, you mean I have to hit the other guy to win?"

    Shocking, I know. :huh

Haha, I had a laugh at that too. Guy literally didn't land a punch for most of the fight and wonders why he was 6 down after 7.

Frampton won easily, can't see much appetite for a rematch.

Yeah, he got plowed with a giant shot at the end of the eleventh and it did affect him, but he came back and won the closer pretty clearly.
